Kathmandu, 27 April

Dominated peoples front Newa Autonomous State Struggling Committee is picketing around Constitutional Assembly (CA) today with the demand of drafting new constitution including Newa autonomous region.

Before the picketing started from 2 PM protester marched the capitals main streets and gathered outside of CA building.

Protesters will submit memorandum to CA chairman Mr. Subhash Chandra Nembang. UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN (UML) and other parties sister organizations are involved in that committee. The committee has said the objective of picketing is to protect democratic achievements, ensure of progressive line and to complete political objective of federal state with autonomous and self determination right.
